The Doncaster branch of the Latvian Welfare Fund acquired its property in 1969 for £2,650. Previously it had been a private home, a two-storey brick building near the town centre. Latvian volunteers rebuilt, redecorated and refurnished it to contain club premises, a library and space for functions and activities. Activities outgrew the space so major rebuilding took pace in 1976, using £35,000 of branch funds and a further loan from the local brewery. The building was sold in 2009.
